Who We Are
Intellectuals in service of a more just world.
Since 2006, CCGS has worked collaboratively with like-minded organizations to engage global issues of significance across the board.
Our Mission
The mission
CCGS brings together a community of intellectuals who identify serious global issues and engage in robust discourse that will chart the best way forward for a peaceful, sustainable, and just world.
These issues include — but are not limited to — sustainable development, sexuality education, harm reduction, community empowerment through seminars, climate change, deforestation, terrorism, globalization, nuclear proliferation, culture in world affairs, religion in global issues, poverty as a result of corruption, international law, human rights, and migration.

Our History
A child of circumstance.
Founded in 2006 and housed in Winnipeg, Canada, CCGS came into existence as a child of circumstance. With growing health concerns — especially preventable and treatable ones — and a widening divide between the rich and the poor globally, in addition to escalating trans-border violence, this not-for-profit set out to engage these challenges directly.
From the beginning, CCGS has worked collaboratively with other like-minded organizations to address global issues of significance across the board.

Governance
Led by a volunteer Board of Directors.
CCGS is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors responsible for setting and monitoring the Mission, Values, and Strategic Directions of the organization. The Board charts the Mission, Vision, and Values, and establishes the policies and positions of the organization across different areas.
The President / Executive Director implements the decisions and policy directions set by the Board, working with a team of talented people to run the organization. The Board collaborates with like-minded agencies and organizations to plan and run programs and events that directly empower people.
